
Joana Gorenstein, flute
Devoted to the chamber music exchange, Joana Gorenstein is becoming a reference flutist by her communicative and versatile playing. Aiming to spread the repertoire for flute in different formations, Joana is a founding member of the chamber music groups: Rhein-Trio and Brazilian Winds Ensemble, both based in Germany.
Joana has also joined a Master's degree program in the class of renowned flute player Eyal Ein-Habar at the Musikhochschule Münster. Before arriving in Europe, Joana has established herself as a rising name in her native Brazil by winning numerous engagements as a soloist and awards in competitions.
In 2019 was selected as an active player in the world-renowned flute player Emmanuel Pahud’s Masterclass. The year before she attended a Specialization Course in Italy with Jessica Dalsant.
During Covid pandemic Joana concentrates on her new project “Solo Brasileiro” dedicated to solo flute pieces from Brazilian composers.
