
Isaac Andrade, cello
Standing out among cellists of his generation, Isaac Andrade has awarded the first prizes in important music competitions in his native country Brazil. Combining an original musical approach and a refined technique of his instrument, Isaac has been raising his name also in Europe.
Since 2016 Isaac Andrade lives in Germany, where he studied with the renowned Professor Matias de Oliveira Pinto at Musikhochschule Münster, the same place wherein October 2017 Isaac was appointed assistant of the cello class
Besides performing as a soloist in front of orchestras in Brazil and abroad, Isaac performs often as a chamber musician. Scholarship holder of Villa Musica, a renowned chamber music academy in Europe, Isaac performs often with established artists in Germany and abroad. As a guest musician, Isaac performed with Brodsky Quartet in 2015.
Beyond Germany and his native Brazil, Isaac has been performing in Italy, France, Switzerland, Russia, Canada, Greece, Hungary and Denmark. Among the musical inspiration and tutors are Marcio Caneiro, Antonio Meneses, Onczay Csaba, Marc Koppey, Daniel Müller-Schott.
